I have guests who are hard of hearing. What kind of accomodations can be made?

LoveStream has several options to accomodate hard of hearing guests. If you are using a sign language interpreter on-site, we can focus a camera on them and display this feed in a smaller window in your main live stream feed. Where can guests watch my wedding?

Guests will click the link to the custom website we build for you to watch your wedding live stream.

They can watch on a smartphone, tablet, laptop, desktop, smart TV or pretty much any device that connects to the internet.

Will my grandparents be able to figure out how to watch?

When we built LoveStream, we wanted to make sure that nobody was left out of your wedding. We often say, "It's so easy, even grandma can do it."

If your grandparents (or whoever your least tech-savvy guests are!) have internet access and can click a URL, then they can watch your wedding live.

After they click the URL to your wedding website (that we provide to you), they will see your video player. They just need to click the play button, and they're golden.

And the best part is, if they do have a little bit of trouble clicking the link to watch, they can start the stream live from the beginning - it works like DVR, so latecomers can still help you celebrate.

Our multi-angle packages also include tech support via chat for your tech-challenged attendees.

What if my weddings guests need help watching the live stream?

Our packages include live guest support via chat - meaning someone from our team will be available to answer questions.

Will guests be visible during the stream?

No! Our platform is one-way streaming, meaning guests can enjoy from the comfort of their homes without having to get dressed up (but they can dress up if they want, of course!).

It also means you can focus on being in-the-moment at your wedding instead of glued to a screen, while guests can watch, sign your guest book, and mingle in the live chat.

How does a wedding live stream work for my guests?

It's easy! Guests click the link to your personal wedding website and, voila, they can now watch your wedding straight from any personal device (phone, computer, smart TV, etc.).

A little late to the wedding or watching from a different time zone? No problem, guests can start the stream live from the beginning - it works like DVR, so latecomers can still help you celebrate.

What can my guests do on my wedding website?

Your custom wedding website includes a live chat where guests can send messages to you and each other and a virtual guest book where guests can upload well wishes and photos. This makes it a true experience for your guests.

Do my guests have to download an app or log in?

Nope! Unlike using Zoom or social media to stream your wedding (which is a bad idea), your guests don't have to log in, create an account, download an app or anything of the sort.

They simply click your URL (which we provide) and they have instant access to your wedding live stream. The only exception is if you choose to password protect your wedding website, in which case, your guests will need the password to enter.

Do you support wedding guests internationally?

Yes! Virtual guests have watched LoveStream weddings in 185 countries and counting.

Some of my virtual guests don't speak English. Will they be able to follow along?

Yes! LoveStream can provide instructions on how to sign the guest book and interact with your website in multiple languages. If we don't already have instructions in your preferred language, we will work with you to ensure all translations are correct for guests.

If your wedding live streaming package includes banners in the stream, we can also create these in multiple languages. Just let us know what we can do to accomodate your guests!

Do my guests have to pay for anything?

No! It's completely free for them.

How far in advance do I have to purchase?

Most of our couples purchase 30-60 days before their event. However, we have had couples purchase the week-of, and some purchase over a year in advance.

That said, there are a ton of benefits to booking your LoveStream earlier rather than later.

1. You'll have your wedding website active for a longer period of time, and can get your wedding URL early enough to print on invitations and track RSVPs.
2. You can lock in your package and pricing.
3. You can secure your date and take something off your to-do list.

How do I purchase a LoveStream package?

Go here, choose the package that works best for you, and click to buy. You can add the package, along with any extras, to your card and check out. We also offer Affirm monthly payments for qualified users.

What do I have to do on wedding day?

On wedding day, you will assign a trusted guest to work with our remote producer. Setup takes about 10 minutes, place a phone on a tripod and click a link. The producer will be on the phone with your day-of contact to talk them through angles/audio.

How much tech experience do I need to live stream my wedding?

Streaming your wedding with LoveStream is the matter of clicking a link.

After purchasing, we'll schedule a call to go over all of the important details. Before wedding day, we'll coach you through all of the best practices to ensure a high-quality stream.

That said, it really is simple. You (or whoever is setting up the streaming devices on the day) will click a link that our team sends to the device. Then your remote producer will add that device to the live stream. Then, set the device on a tripod and let us handle the rest.

Can I just live stream the ceremony?

Absolutely! A lot of our couples choose to only stream their wedding ceremony.

Can I live stream other wedding events?

Certainly! Our couples often live stream their ceremony, first dance, cake cutting and other special events so at-home guests can be part of the special day in bigger ways.

What if I want to stream my reception?

All of our packages include an option to stream the reception!

Choosing the ceremony + reception option allows for a 60-minute intermission, meaning you can have your wedding ceremony, take a break for cocktail hour, then come back online to live stream toasts, first dances, and other important events.

What do I receive with my LoveStream purchase?

With all LoveStream packages, you will receive a custom website built by our team where your live stream will live. This is the link you will send to guests.

In addition to detailed onboarding, you will also receive ongoing tech support.

After the event, our team will email you a downloadable copy of your live stream as it aired, as well as the entries from your live chat and virtual guest book.

When do I get to see my wedding video?

Your wedding video will be available on your website as soon as the event is done. You could literally re-live your ceremony during cocktail hour if you wanted to!

Three business days after your wedding, you will receive an email from our team with a downloadable version of your wedding video, live chat transcript and virtual guest book entries.

Can I share my wedding video?

Yes! After the event, that video is yours to do whatever you want with. Send it to loved ones, share it on social media. The choice is yours.

Do you use Zoom?

Nope! We think Zoom is great for conference calls, but not so much for weddings.

We provide high-definition one-way streaming. Just like an in-person wedding ceremony, the couple can focus on getting married while guests observe. Guests can still interact by using our live chat feature on your wedding website.

If couples want an interactive Zoom reception, we can offer that for an additional charge.

What's the difference between a Zoom wedding and a LoveStream wedding?

Unlike Zoom, LoveStream offers a one-way wedding stream that allows virtual guests to watch the wedding as if they were really there. You can still include virtual speakers or officiants (where legal), but the majority of the guests will get to sit back and enjoy the wedding and comment along in the live chat.

Additionally, LoveStream allows guests to simply click a URL and watch your wedding. There is no need to download the Zoom app, wait for a moderator to let you in, or mute your microphone.

We also do not have a limit for the number of guests who can watch live.

What makes you different from free alternatives?

With free alternatives, you have no tech support and are completely on your own, as are your virtual guests.

Can't I just live stream my wedding on Facebook/Instagram/Youtube for free?

Technically yes.

However, we highly discourage this for three reasons. First, if the social media bots detect copyrighted music (which includes almost all music), they can shut down your live stream.

Secondly, if something goes wrong, you're completely on your own. With LoveStream, you have a real human producing your live stream.

Thirdly, with us, you have the option for mulitple camera angles with real-time camera switching. Think of it like live TV show (anything from Saturday Night Live to your local morning news) - a producer decides which camera is airing based on the action happening on stage.

Do you have music rights?

We do! Unlike some competitors, we purchase music rights for all of the major music labels. This means you don't have to worry about your stream being shut down.

For example, if you were to walk down the aisle to Ed Sheeran and stream your wedding on Facebook Live, it's likely that your stream would be automatically shut down. And nobody wants that.

What do you mean by "devices"?

We consider devices to be anything with a camera that connects to the internet. Typically, this includes smart phones, tablets and laptops.

We leverage devices like iPhones and Androids because smartphones were built for streaming - they have fast processors that allow them to pass high-quality video. They are super flexible and most people have them readily available.

Do you provide the devices?

We rent devices in our Elite and White Glove packages, however, many of our wedding couples use devices they already have - they usually don't need them during the ceremony, anyways!

This helps keep costs down for the couple.

How am I going to find three devices?

If you don't want to rent our devices, we usually see the couple use their own phones. You won't need it during the ceremony or immediately after. If you are only streaming the ceremony, then you can get your phone back by reception time.

It's likely that between your wedding party, siblings or parents, you'll find someone more than willing to offer up their phone to stream from.

Why do I need more than one device?

Each device offers a new camera angle. Therefore, the more devices, the more angles the virtual producer can choose from, which leads to a more exciting live stream for your virtual guests.

What devices can I use?

We are always happy to test your preferred devices. We've found that the best quality wedding live streams come from newer devices with better cameras - iPhones offer the gold-standard for this, but newer Androids work as well.

That said, we can stream from iPhone 10 or later (iOs 14 or higher is required), iPad (iOs 14 or higher is required), Android phones (newer devices and updated software are required), and laptops with webcams.

Do rental prices include shipping costs?

Yes! Rental prices include shipping both ways. We'll send you a return shipping label in your box, so you just have to pack it up, pop on the label and drop it off at your nearest FedEx store.

The only time you might pay more for shipping is if you are outside of the contiguous 48 states or if you book your rentals last-minute and we have to overnight your package.

Will my rentals get here in time?

We guarantee rentals arrive at least the day before your wedding. Most often, they will arrive a few days early.

How long can I keep my rentals?

The rental period is typically 3 days so rentals should be returned to a FedEx store with the included shipping label attached the business day after your wedding.

Why should I book rentals?

Rentals, which include a studio-quality microphone and heavy-duty tripods, help increase the quality of your live stream by providing crisp audio and a steady picture.

Renting these items also means you don't have to buy your own - saving you money and preventing you from being the proud owner of multiple tripods.

I already purchased my wedding streaming package - is it too late to add rentals?

We prefer that couples book rentals as early as possible to ensure we have enough in stock and to prevent increased shipping costs. However, you are always welcome to come back to our site and purchase rentals for your upcoming event!

How do I know if my internet/cellular is fast enough to stream?

After purchase, our team will guide you through how to easily perform a speed test. We will provide you with guidance on how to improve internet/cellular speed as well as which is best for you to stream from.

What if my venue doesn't have wifi or cell service?

If this is the case, we can recommend a hot spot or other options to help you share your wedding day with those who can't be there in-person.

Can I use public wifi for my wedding live stream?

We recommend having access to a private wifi network in order to ensure the best connection.

What's a custom website?

This is the webpage that our team builds for you where your live stream will be hosted.

It's the URL you will share with your guests to view you stream, interact via live chat and sign your virtual guest book.

Can I put my wedding live stream on my website from The Knot, Zola, etc?

You cannot embed your LoveStream wedding live stream on another website.

However, you are welcome to link to your LoveStream site from another wedding website. Let our team know if you need assistance with this!

What goes on my website?

All websites come standard with interactive guest features, including the wedding live stream, a live chat where guests can send messages, and a virtual guest book where they can leave their well wishes.

Our upgraded websites can include whatever you want (within reason, of course!). Most couples include their love story, a photo gallery, and a playlist. You can also include a copy of your wedding invitation or wedding program.

Do I have to have all of that on my website?

No! We can remove any features you would rather not have. For example, some couples don't want to have the live chat function for guests. Let our team know, and we're happy to remove it.

Is my website private?

We do our best to protect the privacy of our couples. Your website is not searchable on Google, and the only way for someone to access it is via the URL that you share.

For additional privacy, we can add a password of your choosing to your wedding site.

Can I add XYZ to my wedding website?

For the most part, anything that can be embedded with Javascript can be added to your wedding website.

Are you an officiant?

No. LoveStream does not officiate weddings. We simply live stream your wedding to your loved ones.

Can I have a remote officiant?

Some states allow remote officiants, however, we cannot help advise you on this. We can include virtual guests in your stream.

How much does it cost to live stream a wedding?

This depends who you work with! There are some free options, but with these, you will be completely on your own, so if something goes wrong, there is no one there to fix it.

There are also very expensive options, such as live streaming that a videographer might provide.
